To assign data tiles to organizations or individuals as part of an orthophoto quality control process, your inSITE administrator must assign you an admin role. For more information on quality control roles, please see Cloud-Based Quality Control Overview. If you need assistance with a role assignment, please contact your organization’s inSITE administrator.
Your organization’s inSITE administrator will provide you with assignment instructions and an ESRI shapefile configured to your quality control project that you can use to assign tiles. Depending on your preferred configuration, you can assign tiles to individual reviewers or to project stakeholder organizations like counties or state government agencies. Populate the project shapefile’s attribute table according to the instructions in ArcGIS or other compatible GIS software then save your attribute table edits. Close your GIS software to ensure the shapefile is not locked.
In VOICE, click the More menu then click VOICE DBF Upload. Navigate to the .dbf file from your modified project shapefile. Click Upload to process the .dbf file and update your project’s tile assignments.
