inSITE Web Interface Tour

The Quantum inSITE web interface has two main components: the map window and the display window.

Map Window

Use the map window to view and navigate through your 2D data and analytics. You can move the map and interact with data using your mouse, touch screen, or keyboard.

Display Window

The display window contains panels that help you search for, display, analyze, edit, measure, or create data and analytics. Use the buttons at the top of the display window to access panels for drawing, editing, measuring, searching, finding driving directions, and more.

Legend

The legend panel displays symbols that explain the data and analytics in the map window. The legend panel automatically updates as you show or hide layers or zoom in and out, so you always see symbols that correspond to what you can see in the map.

Layers

The layers panel contains display options for all your available data and analytics and tools for adding new data to inSITE.

Search

The search panel contains tools for finding data using keywords, data attributes, or spatial relationships.

Edit

The edit panel contains tools for creating or deleting new features in your data and for editing the attributes associated with each feature.

Bookmark

The bookmark panel allows you to save and quickly return to key locations in the map.

Basemap Gallery

The basemap gallery allows you to add and select reference layers to display behind your data to provide context and additional information.

Print

The print panel allows you to save printable maps with legends as PDFs or images.

Draw

The draw panel contains tools for drawing and writing notes in the map and for sharing your drawings and notes with your team.

Measurement

The measurement panel contains tools for calculating distance and area in the map or finding the coordinates for a point in the map.

Directions

The directions panel contains tools for calculating driving and walking directions and optimizing driving routes for efficient inspections and asset management tasks.

Locator

The locator panel allows you to quickly navigate to a remote location using it latitude and longitude.

Triview

The triview panel allows you to simultaneously launch a street view, a street map, and an oblique photo video of a location directly from the map.
